Itinerary

You’ll start your journey by arriving in Dehradun (either by train, bus, or flight). After arrival, you’ll drive for approximately 6-7 hours to reach Sankri, the base camp for the trek. The drive takes you through scenic hill stations, winding roads, and villages, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Once you reach Sankri, check into your accommodation and take time to acclimatize and prepare for the trek.

After 3 to 4 hours of ascent, you’ll reach the majestic Kedarkantha peak, standing tall at 12,500 feet. The effort is rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views of snow-capped Himalayan giants like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, and even parts of Himachal Pradesh. After spending some time at the summit soaking in the incredible views and clicking photos, you’ll begin the descent. The return journey retraces your steps back to the base camp and then continues further down to Juda-ka-Talab, taking another 3 to 4 hours.
